- During the last five years, KVK had conducted a total of 43 nos. of OFTs in agriculture and allied discipline encompassing a total of 385 numbers of trials.

- Under the Cluster Frontline Demonstration (CFLD) of NFSM/NMOOP programme, a total of 350 ha area involving 966 farmers was covered for lentil, field pea, toria, linseed and soybean.
- A total of 292 nos. of training programme covering 7427 participants were conducted in the area of agronomy, horticulture, animal science, soil science, plant breeding, Agri-extension, home science and food processing and value addition for capacity development of farmers/ rural youth and extension personnel
- KVK also conducted a total of 1,878 number of different extension activities in the form of field days, kisan mela, scientist visit to farmers’ field, farmer scientist interactions, diagnostic visits, exposure visits, exhibition, method demonstrations, KMAS, kharif and rabi kisan mela, World Soil Day, Jai Kisan Jai Vigyan Week, etc.entailing 10,761 participants during this period for popularization of technologies in the farmers’ field
- Various interaction and convergence were made with different stake holders of agricultural development in the district like District Agriculture and Horticulture Officer, ATMA, NABARD, PPV&FRA, New Delhi, Soil & Water Conservation, DVO, etc. for implementation of KVK activities, FLDs, organizing training, sponsored training, financial assistance and logistic support for organizing seminar & training, coordination of soil testing & issue of SHCs and implementation of various activities.
- KVK Wokha is playing a pivotal role in increasing job opportunity and self-employments to the rural tribal youth through vocational trainings and skill development training programmes on mushroom production, floriculture, vermicompost production, bee keeping, piggery, vegetable cultivation, protected cultivation of vegetables round the year, production of quality seeds of cereals, oilseeds, pulses in seed cluster mode and planting materials, etc for the rural youth, farmers and farm women
- KVK Wokha is promoting 200 entrepreneurs in poultry, piggery, floriculture and mushroom enterprise under attracting and retaining youth in agriculture (ARYA) project. A total of 55 farmers/youths have promoted for quality seed grower, pig farming, mushroom production, poultry farming and organic farming through Skill training of 200 hours sponsored by Agriculture Skill Council of India (ASCI) and MANAGE, Hyderabad
- KVK Wokha has derived a handsome amount from different organisations in the form of project and other programme for various activities for the upliftment of farming community in a comprehensive way. A total of Rs 214.52 lakh was attracted from 31 projects and programmes for utilisation of various activities and strengthening of KVK. More than Rs 8 lakh was also generated as farm revenue from KVK demonstration farm
- Three numbers of innovations were designed and developed by innovative farmers of Wokha district. A innovative farmer Mr. Chipothung Lotha of the district developed aninnovative method for packaging and marketing of Jaggery (Gur)for which he received innovative farmers award during North-East Innovators Meet at Gangtok. Another methodology developed was the Traditional Bamboo Shoot Processing & Fermentation by the Lotha Naga which is a popular traditional food item of Lotha tribe of Naga with high market demand and value
- KVK Wokha has mobilized the Farmers Club, SHGs, commodity Interest Group (passion fruit grower society, vegetable grower society, Kiwi grower society), Farmers Interest groups (FIGs), Farmers federations, Farmers producer organization (Spices producer society), Village Development Board (VDB), etc. A total of 17 numbers of SHGs were formed through the initiative of KVK Wokha
KVK Wokha has been actively involved in number of activities for conservation of soils and water through popularization of modified Echo a traditional soil conservation structure (10 ha area), in-situ green and brown manuring for improvement of soil health (15 ha area), low-cost rainwater harvesting for intensified and diversified farming in Jhum system (123 nos), community basis promotion of artificial rainwater harvesting pond based integrated farming system for tribal Jhumias
